At Powerlite we’d like to think that we are pioneers of our time. We have been at the forefront of advances in classic car electrics, with our inventions and designs making it easier for the mechanic and enthusiast to both get and stay on the road.

We invented the Dynalite – the very first alternator that looks like a dynamo. We have designed, tested and produced tens of thousands of High Torque Starter Motors for hundreds of applications. Working closely with some of the biggest classic car companies in the UK, we have helped to create a bespoke range of upgraded starter motors, alternators, and dynamo conversions for the British Classic Car enthusiast. Every one of these units is hand made by skilled auto electricians, right here in the UK.
